I felt amazing, refreshed, & invigorated for the first time in 7 years!
Health issues: Back pain, leg pain
I started with leg pains at the end of 2002 when we moved house. I thought it was flu at first as it was that ache you often get with the flu.
Three weeks later when it hadn’t gone away I went to see my GP. He told me it was probably the stress of moving and gave me a prescription.
A few weeks later I started getting twinges in my back but carried on taking the pills hoping it would just go away.
I went back to the GP’s and he sent me for an x-ray and changed my tablets for stronger ones. The x-ray showed nothing so I was referred to a physiotherapist. I carried on taking my painkillers and doing the physiotherapy exercises.
Over the weeks my pain gradually got worse, so I was then referred to the pain clinic where I was made to feel very uncomfortable and like I was making it up because they didn’t know why I had the pain and didn’t have any answers. They referred me to a psychologist and gave me a tens machine.
I was scared to go back to the GP’s after that as they made me feel like a hypochondriac. Every week I used to phone up and get repeat prescriptions so that I would never have to go back to the GP’s.
Over the years my pain has got so bad that some days I was unable to get out of bed and had to be helped by my husband.
I gave up my job last December as I couldn’t walk without feeling excruciating pain in my back and down my legs.
I was forced to go back to the GP’s as I was now having problems with my heart. I saw a consultant who told me I had atrial fibrillation which makes the heart beat very fast and irregular so I was put on more medication to control that.
Together with my pain killers, I was now taking 25 tablets every day. My life revolved around taking pain killers to ease my pain
I was eventually sent for an MRI scan earlier this year. They found that one of my discs in my back has worn out and also a prolapsed disc which was pressing on my nerves. They gave me some more tablets to cope with the nerve pain and offered me surgery.
I was very emotional, but also relieved that they had found something that was causing all the pain that I’d had for 7 years. I was very frightened at the thought of having surgery as that in itself is a very risky procedure.
One day I was walking the dog and my neighbour gave me a leaflet about Ceragem. I read it and thought, “That seems too good to be true. Unlimited free trials – there must be a catch!”
I thought about it but was very wary as nothing is free without a catch. I was also scared that if I went it would make the pain worse, even thought I’d read all the positive letters that people had written about Ceragem.
On September 28th I was walking around town in agony when I saw Ceragem in the distance and decided to walk towards the door. I went in and from that moment the staff with their friendly faces and beautiful smiles – my life changed. What a warm positive feeling I got when I walked through that door.
After I had everything explained to me about what Ceragem is and what it does, I went on a bed. I found it very uncomfortable at first but the staff reassured me that this was just temporary.
When I came off, I felt amazing, refreshed, and invigorated for the first time in 7 years! I felt more positive about my future and went home with a smile on my face.
I have been coming to Ceragem for 7 weeks now and I can only say how it has changed my life for the better. People have noticed how much happier I am.
I’m still getting pain but I know and believe that I am going to get better. It may take several months for my pain to go, but I know with the help of Ceragem, I can look forward to a brighter, healthy and pain free future.
I am getting my spark back thanks to Ceragem and if I see anyone on my walks that complains of aches and pains, I always have a Ceragem leaflet handy in my bag to give them. I want them to feel the benefits and be happy like me.
Thank you Ceragem and all it’s wonderful staff!
